"Competent staff, great work (5 out of 5 stars) Installation of a tankless water heater (including adding a gas line) was done quickly and at a lower price than the other bids. We were especially impressed with the competence and knowledge of the person doing the estimate and the plumber who performed the work. I can't do much plumbing or other home repair work myself, but I have a good eye for the quality of the work done. This job appears to be perfectly done. "Dear Sandy, I want to thank D & F plumbing and particularly recognize the excellent professional work done at our residence last month by Ron Huey. Insurance claims are never enjoyable but Ron was courteous and informative as to what our problem was on the initial visit. Site remediation from another contractor was required before D & F could return to do their work. Over the three partial days that Ron re-plumbed most of the drain and supplies in our kitchen, he had to work in a confined and minimal crawl space. He never complained and he always gave reasonable and reliable advice as to what the best course of action was for replacement of piping in our 60 year old residence. Had I not professionally worked with Ron and your company, I am not so sure I would have had the confidence to to make the necessary expenditures to get the job done right. Needless to say, we are very pleased with the outcome.

Sandi, I understand that Ron is a third generation plumber and he is not alone in this distinction at D & F; you and Stan should be very proud of this tradition for excellence at your company. Best holiday wishes to your employees."

"For the first time in the 27+ years we have lived in our Portland home we were getting flooding in the basement. It was raining cats and dogs but that had never caused so much as a drop to enter our home previously. This wasn't a drop or two, it was a steady stream of water coming out from under a flight of stairs. I called Sandi at D & F Plumbing. Not sure how she did it, but Sandi had one of her guys out to my house in well under an hour. The problem was fixed in less than 30-minutes.
